The conference program will include, but not limited to, the following aspects of selenium research: nutrition, human and animal health, disease, toxicity, biochemistry, molecular biology, analytical techniques and modeling. The 6th ICSEHH will offer an excellent platform for scientists, environmental, health and biological professionals working on all aspects of selenium across multitude disciplines to present their state-of-the-art research findings, exchange research ideas, and initiate future collaborative research programs. The strength of this conference is that the format is established to allow participants ample and comfortable opportunities to discuss aspects of selenium outside their area of respective expertise with others.
The conference venue will be at Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) in Yangling, which is about 80 km west of Xi’an - an ancient capital city for 13 dynasties during its 3100-year history. Yangling is also believed to be the birthplace of the Chinese agricultural civilization and close to several popular historical attractions like Terracotta Warriors.
